POW! 是揣摩藝術與人產生的碰撞，感覺就像一記拳頭打在臉上。

WOW!是觀者對藝術的反應，形容當下產生的敬畏與驚嘆。POW! WOW! 一詞來自美國原住民，形容一場慶祝文化、音樂與藝術的盛會。POW! WOW!街頭藝術活動主要是由全球知名的藝術家組成的國際藝術組織，在夏威夷已歷經四屆的舉辦，今年是第二次舉辦具備在地特色的POW! WOW! TAIWAN，重點在於以藝術與音樂創作提昇民眾對新世代街頭藝術的認知，運用創意與文化的相互激盪來創造一個「新世代街頭藝術」。

所有其他刺激我們的事往往使我們更了解自己 – 榮格 “Vibratorism” 由Vibrant (振動、活躍)、Collaborator(共同工作者)、-ism(某某主義)所構成，Vibrator同時也是帶來愉悅之按摩棒之意。此次展覽與我們合作的POW WOW TAIWN 藝術活動同步舉行，展覽目的在於提供給觀眾豐富的視覺和文化饗宴。展出作品視覺上將會刺激活化觀眾視覺神經，也會刺激觀眾的腦神經 - 提供另一種思維觀看所處的社會以及生活面向。

 

What is POW! WOW!？ POW! – It’s the impact that art has on a person. WOW! – It’s reaction that art has on a viewer. Together they form POW WOW, which is a term that describes a gathering that celebrates culture, music and art.

In POW! WOW! TAIWAN 2015, we have invited over 30 international and local artists to join us, together they will paint murals in Taipei, Taichung, Nantou, Tainan and we have all their amazing mural as well as fine art pieces presented to you. 

 

“Vibratorism" exhibition is held by Yo Gallery during our collaboration with the world famous art event Pow Wow Taiwan. The show is made to give the audience a vivid visual and multi-cultural presentation to stimulate eye sensation as well as inspire a train of thoughts from artists different aspects to the society and lives.
